GFF ELITE LEAGUE TO RECOMMENCE ON FEBRUARY 11, 2018
3rd February, 2018, Georgetown: The Guyana Football Federation’s senior league known as the ‘GFF Elite League’ is scheduled to recommence on Sunday, 11th February, 2018.
This follows a break from the tournament to facilitate the GFF’s Super 16 Yearend Classic, which concluded on January 1, 2018 and the GFF’s Transfer Window, which ended on January 31, 2018 respectively.
President of the GFF, Wayne Forde, said the second half of the tournament promises to be even more exciting than the last: “The movement of several top players during the January transfer window is a good indication of what is to be expected. With the CONCACAF League of Nations commencing in September this year, it is important that our local boys get the game time necessary to prepare them for National duties.”
More details will be forthcoming in the coming week relative to the fixtures and community engagement plans with a player-centered focus.
