On Friday, 28th July, 2017, the president of the Guyana Football Federation (GFF) Wayne Forde visited the closing ceremony of the Guyana Girls Academy (GGA). The camp was held at the Transport Ground, Thomaslands and catered for girls, aged 7 – 11 Accompanying the president were Technical Director Ian Greenwood and Head Coach of the National U15 Boys, Bryan Joseph The GFF provided some of the technical personnel to aid the execution of the camp
