PRESIDENT FORDE PAYS COURTESY CALL TO FIRE CHIEF

President Wayne Forde presents token to Fire Chief, Marlon Gentle, on behalf of the GFF

On Tuesday, 25th July, 2017, the President of the Guyana Football Federation (GFF), Wayne Forde, paid a courtesy call to the Guyana Fire Service (GFS) and Fire Chief Marlon Gentle

President Forde expressed gratitude to the GFS for the support provided to the GFF through the provision of accommodation for the national youth teams, that is, the male U15 and the female U17. The teams concluded national encampment on Saturday, 22nd July as they prepare for respective tournaments:

National U15 Male – CONCACAF u15 Boys Championships in the USA from the 13th-19th August, 2017

National U17 Women – CONCACAF Caribbean Women’s U17 Qualifiers.

Guyana hosts Group D (Barbados and Cuba) scheduled for the 9th – 13th August at the National Track and Field Facility, Leonora.

GAME TIME: 17:00hrs

The president was accompanied by Technical Director, Ian Greenwood, and Council Member Keith Ojeer and presented mementos on behalf of the GFF
