 Invitation to Tender for GFF Elite League Management Rights

1.  Invitation FOR TENDERS

The Guyana Football Federation (GFF) hereby invites tenders from reputable Management Agencies/Companies to acquire the rights to manage the conduct of its Elite League for the period September, 2015 to May, 2016.

  1. Responsibilities of Management Agency/Company

 To report to the Normalization Committee/Executive of the Guyana Football Federation.

  1. Promotion:

This will include all facets of multi-media paid advertising and promotion as well as collaboration with the print and electronic media in the matter of reporting on matches and events associated with the Tournament. To provide where possible, a working area for the media at match/events.

  1. The Opening Ceremony

The Management Agency will be responsible for ensuring that the on-field physical arrangements are in place for the Opening Ceremony, i.e. Teams are prepared for a March Pass, and all the necessary details and actions pertaining to an appropriate March Pass as guided by the Normalisation Committee/ GFF.

  1. The Closing Ceremony

As for the Opening Ceremony all protocols and actions relating to a successful Closing Ceremony must be observed.

  1. Security

This will include all security arrangements at venues to protect officials, players and fans. Good order at all venues on and off the field, at ticket booths, entrances and exit areas, etc. must be among the highest priorities.

  1. Protocols

Protocol arrangements must be put in place for all matches.

  1. Launch of Elite League

The Launch of the League is to be finalized by the Management Agency, the GFF and Title Sponsor.

  1. Duration of League

The Company is expected to be engaged the period September, 2015 to December, 2015 and from February, 2016 to May, 2016.

  1. Transportation of Teams

To coordinate the efficient transportation of teams when engaged in matches that require that input e.g. for matches not involving Georgetown vs Georgetown Teams.

  1. Match Officials

To liaise with the GFF re Match Officials including Commissioners and Referee Inspectors

  1. Venues

To supervise ground marking and other pre and post-match requirements.

To provide PA Systems and Lighting Towers and chairs for patrons where necessary.

  1. To ensure that the playing surface is safe and suitable for play and to liaise with the GFF and the participating clubs to ensure that adequate equipment is provided i.e. balls, corner flags, goal posts and nets. Also to ensure that the ground is properly marked for play.
  1. To ensure that adequate ambulance and medical personnel are on hand at games.

 

  1. eligibility to tender

 This tendering process is open to any reputable marketing agency/company who is registered to do business in Guyana.

  1. TENDER CRITERIA

 All tenders must include:

  1. An overview of your company;
  2. A comprehensive cost proposal
  • Evidence of previous work in the organization and running of football tournaments
  1. Any other relevant information.
  1. TENDER SUBMISSION

Proposals must be received in the form of two (2) hard copies no later than 16:00 hrs. on Monday August 10th ,2015 at the following address:
