GFF ELITE LEAGUE III – Restart Scheduled For Friday
12th February, 2018, Georgetown: The restart of the GFF Elite League III is now scheduled for Friday, 16th February due to unplayable conditions last Sunday at the GFC Ground as a result of the inclement weather over the weekend.
The first double-header will see GDF FC vs Den Amstel FC at 19:00hrs and Western Tigers FC vs Fruta Conquerors FC at 21:00hrs at the said venue, GFC Ground, Bourda.
The delayed startup has resulted in a restructuring of the fixtures. The second double-header is now scheduled for the 18th February at the Buxton Community Centre Ground, and will have Cougars FC vs Ann’s Grove FC at 14:00hrs and Victoria Kings FC vs Buxton United FC at 16:00hrs.
The third double-header – NA United FC vs Ann’s Grove FC and GDF FC vs Milerock FC – will be played on February 21 at the Mackenzie Sports Club (MSC) from19:00hes and 21:00hrs respectively.
The next lineup is set for February 24 with matches slated for Number Five Ground, Berbice between Milerock FC vs Cougars FC at 18:00hrs and NA United FC vs Den Amstel FC at 20:00hrs
The GFF Elite League is the senior league of the Guyana Football Federation, which informs the senior national squad. The Guyana Defence Force FC is the defending champions. Admission to all matches is $500.
