Finance Manager

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • – Design and implement all aspects of accounting operations and the preparation of annual financial forecasts/ budgets, annual and monthly financial statements and other accounting reports and projects as necessary
  • – Oversee the development and maintenance of internal control and effective accounting systems and policies
  • – Responsible for day to day finance and accounts operations
  • – Responsible for timely monthly consolidated financial statements, payments, cash-flow management reporting
  • – Review invoices bills, vouchers and perform project cost forecasts/budgets, cost tracking, monitoring and controls
  • – Perform cash flow forecasting, budgeting and working closely with the operations and project teams in analyzing margins, variances and cost analysis
  • – Issue project cost reports for review and approval
  • – Establish and maintain systems for cost sensitivity analysis and earning warning of cost over runs
  • – Work consultatively with the respective departments on cost reduction initiatives
  • – Assist with other accounting functions as needed, including bank reconciliations, monthly reporting, budgeting and administration work


Required Skills, Experience & Qualifications

  • – A Chartered Accountant with a minimum of 3 years’ experience administering the affairs of a Finance Department
  • – Masters in Finance with 3 years’ experience administering the affairs of a Finance Department
  • – Or Degree in Accounting from a recognized University plus 5 years’ experience at a Senior Management level
  • – Knowledge in the preparation of Final Accounts and Financial Statements according to International Financial Reporting Standards
  • – To reports to the Board of Directors on the financial affairs of the entity.
  • – To ensure that the Finance Department adheres to the standard implemented by the Board of Directors.
  • – Unquestionable Integrity with proven track record
  • – Knowledge in dealing with external auditors
  • – Should be able to work in a team oriented environment
