On June 26, 2015, the Guyana Football Federation’s (GFF) General Congress voted to include two new members under its umbrella: The Guyana Beach Football Association (GBFA) and the Guyana Futsal Association (GFA).
The mandate of the two Associations are outlined in Article 2 of the Statutes of the respective organizations, the main objectives are: GFA: To foster and promote the game of Futsal at all levels, providing opportunities for recreation, representative matches and elite competitions, for players, coaches and other members of the sports community.
GBFA: To foster and promote the game of Beach Football at all levels, providing opportunities for recreation, representative matches and elite competitions, for players, coaches and other members of the sports community.
To this end, the GFF Normalization Committee hereby invites interested individuals who are desirous of serving on the Council of these Associations. Interested individuals must satisfy the following criteria: -18 years or older; -Prior involvement in Organized Football; -No criminal background Submissions must be received on or before Thursday October 01, 2015.
The elections of the Councils will be conducted on October 23, 2015 in accordance with the Statues of the respective Associations.
