GFF TO HOST PRESS CONFERENCE – Guyana Girls Academy August Camp To Be Launched
24th July, 2017; Georgetown: The Guyana Football Federation (GFF) has partnered with the Guyana Girls Academy (GGA) in the development of young female footballers. To this end, the GGA’s August Camp as well as the Academy will be officially launched via press conference on Tuesday, 25th July, 2017 at 11:30hrs at the GFF’s secretariat.
Present at the press conference will be President of the GFF Wayne Forde; Technical Director of the GFF, Ian Greenwood and President of the Guyana Girls Academy, Colin Wilson.
According to GGA’s website, the GGA Camp is a four-day football camp geared towards giving young girls a peek into the GGA as well as create more interest in girls football. The first camp will be held from July 25 – 28 in Georgetown, Guyana and is open to girls’ ages 7 to 11. The camp allows Guyanese girls to get a taste of the GGA and girls football with an elite coaching staff in a professional environment on and off the field.
