GFF-NAMILCO THUNDERBOLT FLOUR POWER NATIONAL U17 INTRA-ASSOCIATION TOURNAMENT CONTINUES
– Matches In Three RMAs Scheduled
7th July, 2017; Georgetown: Three Regional Member Associations (RMAs) will be engaged in this weekend’s GFF-NAMILCO Thunderbolt Flour Power National U17 Tournament – Essequibo / Pomeroon Football Association, Upper Demerara Football Association (UDFA) and Berbice Football Association (Ber FA).
Three matches are scheduled for the Essequibo / Pomeroon Football Association and BFA respectively while two matches are scheduled for the UDFA on Sunday. (See below weekend fixtures)
Many of the matches in the RMAs have yet to begun as a result of the inclement weather experienced across Guyana but the Guyana Football Federation (GFF) is optimistic that the games will kick off in these associations at the earliest opportunity. “We continue to look forward with bated breath for a change to the inclement weather which would then allow the tournament to progress in the various RMAs with the accompanying excitement of competitive youth football,” said Ian Alves, GFF’s Competitions Director.

The nation-wide GFF-NAMILCO Thunderbolt Flour Power Intra-Association U-17 Tournament, is a five (5)-year partnership between the GFF and the National Milling Company and is a key component of the Council’s strategic objective in its youth development thrust.
