GFF INC. AND SCOTIABANK TO LAUNCH NATIONWIDE ACADEMY TRAINING CENTRES
8th February, 2017; Georgetown: The Guyana Football Federation Inc. (GFF) and Scotiabank will formally launch the ‘GFF-Scotiabank Academy Training Centres (ATC)’ on Thursday, 9th February, 2017.
This event is scheduled for 10:00hrs at the Umana Yana, Georgetown and will feature addresses from GFF President Wayne Forde; Scotiabank Marketing Manager, Jennifer Cipriani; an overview of the ATC programme from GFF Technical Director Ian Greenwood, and an introduction to the new team of regional GFF Technical Development Officers and GFF Youth Development Coaches.
The creation of a nationwide youth academy programme is the first initiative of its kind in Guyana, and forms a major part of the GFF’s strategy to work with its Regional Member Associations to lay strong foundations for the future success of football.
Refreshments will be served after the event.
